Information you give us, information from services you connect, and information about how you use LocalCite.
- Account details: name, email, brokerage and license information.
- Sign-in details from Google or BoldTrail if you use them.
- Your market: the area and cities you choose.
- Your website address and the content we publish there.
- Your notes and edits on drafts.
- Billing details, handled by our payment processor.
- Usage data and cookies, such as pages viewed and features used.
How we use it
- To research your market and write, review and publish your articles.
- To measure how AI assistants and search engines cite your content.
- To run, secure and improve LocalCite.
- To contact you about your account, and about product updates if you opt in.
AI and your content
We use AI models to research and draft articles. What you send us is used to write your content and is processed by model providers under contracts that restrict how they use it.

Published content
Articles you approve are published on your website, where anyone, including AI assistants, can read them. That is the point of the product.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. After you close it, we delete or de-identify it within a set period, except where the law requires us to keep it.

Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your information, and opt out of marketing email, at any time. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights. We will not treat you differently for using them.
Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you of a breach as the law requires.
Children
LocalCite is for licensed professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we will email you before it takes effect.
